The Stihl FS 94 CE is a highly powerful, lightweight petrol strimmer (the lightest of the 2-stroke range). Easier to start and more comfortable to operate than previous models, this is an ideal brushcutter for extensive use. The two-handle design makes operating the FS94 smoother with less fatigue.
- Only weighs 4.9-kilograms,
- 2-Mix Stihl engine uses 20% less fuel,
- Large 0.54L fuel tank,
- Ergostart & ecospeed,
Use this Stihl petrol strimmer for longer periods.
Everything about this petrol brushcutter is designed to help you tackle even the biggest areas that need trimming. To start with, the bike handle grip is there to help you effortlessly control the FS94 CE Strimmer with minimal effort. Place both hands on the soft grip handles, you will find it is at the optimal position to swing the strimmer from side to side, comfortably and vibration-free.
Stihl has developed an efficient anti-vibration set-up, as the cutter of the machine spins, any wavering through the frame is dampened. This results in a reduction of annoying vibrations through the handles to your hands, meaning you can operate for longer.
Furthermore, the addition of the shoulder harness will help reduce any strain on your lower back, as you use the grass trimmer over large landscapes – further reducing fatigue.
Also, the 0.54 litre fuel tank is perfect for keeping you on the go for longer. The more fuel you can carry, the fewer stops you have to make. Even full of fuel, this is still a considerably light strimmer to operate.
Impressive engine technology for easy starting
Powering the Stihl FS 94 C-E is a 24.1cc two-stroke engine with reducing emissions technology. Improvements in increasing airflow between strokes reduce the amount of fuel lost. Not only will this improve fuel economy, but it results in more power with fewer exhaust fumes. This engine advancement has improved fuel consumption by 20% compared to similar 2-stroke models.
Stihl has also designed the Stihl FS 94 CE petrol strimmer with a super simple start-up procedure. Just set the choke, a quick press of a button to prime with fuel, pull the starting cord – the engine fires with zero hassle. Thanks to the ErgoStart, less force and effort are required to get this started than other brushcutter models.
Another great advantage of this machine is, when your briefly stop, the ignition activates automatically meaning it’s always ready to start again. With the ecospeed control, the brushcutter’s engine can be controlled with precision via the handles.
Features We Like
Reduced-emission engine technology
2-stroke engine with stratified charge. A fuel-free layer of air is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.
Large fuel tank
The transparent fuel tank with a volume of 0.75 l ensures long working intervals with fewer fuel stops. The level is easily visible from the outside. Easy to refuel through a large, easily accessible tank opening. (similar to illustration)
Manual fuel pump (Purger)
A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required following extended breaks in operations.
STIHL ErgoStart (E)
STIHL ErgoStart cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. A coil spring between the starter cord and the crankshaft smoothes out force peaks, making them virtually undetectable through the cord itself.
Simplified starting system
Simply set the choke, pump the fuel primer, pull the starter cord and away you go! The running machine then switches off after a brief press of the stop button. Once the machine is at a standstill, the ignition activates again automatically. Thus the ignition is always ready for starting.
When used in conjunction with a harness, the bike handle enables a smooth mowing action. The bike handle allows the machine to be easily guided, making it ideal for working on large areas and thus reducing fatigue.
STIHL ECOSPEED enables the user to control the brushcutter engine speed individually on the operating handle.
Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine’s engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
