With the STIHL RM 650 V petrol lawn mower, you can mow your lawn efficiently and with ease. With a cutting width of 48cm/19″, it is ideal for large lawns and transforms into a practical mulching mower without having to change the blade, simply fit the supplied mulching plug. During mulching the grass clippings are finely shredded and evenly distributed directly onto the lawn acting as a natural as fertiliser. The mower’s Vario drive system allows you to easily control the ground speed so you can quickly adapt to different lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be controlled without affecting the engine/blade speed of the powerful Kohler engine. Other practical features include a central, seven-setting cutting height adjustment as well as an ergonomic height-adjustable mono comfort handlebar which makes emptying the fold-open 70-litre grass catcher box easy. The RM 650 V guarantees maximum comfort, whether during cut and collect mowing or when mulching. The RM 650 V comes with a 5 year extended domestic warranty (subject to registration and annual servicing).

Easy start engine
Thanks to the SmartChoke technology, the engine starts up reliably and with minimal effort both during cold and warm starting.
The Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the STIHL lawn mower to personal mowing habits and lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be infinitely varied using the control lever on the handlebar.
During mulching, the mulching blade shreds the mown grass before it falls back into the turf as a nutritional fertiliser. And with the appropriate mulching kit available as an optional accessory for this lawn mower, the machine can also be converted into a Multi-mower.
Thanks to the specially shaped cutting blades, the multi-blade of the STIHL petrol lawn mower shreds the mown grass. When using the grass catcher box, it is then efficiently conveyed in the box. During mulch mowing, the mown grass is directly ejected onto the lawn so that it falls back onto the turf as a nutritional fertiliser.
Fold-open grass catcher box with level indicator
The plastic grass catcher box can be easily opened and emptied thanks to its folding mechanism. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures a high degree of filling. Thanks to the downward-facing vanes, the air is guided sideways towards the ground, preventing dirt from being thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying. The airflow generated by the blade raises the level indicator. When the basket is full, the airflow stops. If the airflow is too low, the level indicator returns to its idle state and this is an indication to empty the catcher box.Optimal airflow is required in order for the level indicator to function fully. External influences such as wet, dense or tall grass, a low cutting height, contamination, etc. may affect the airflow and the performance of the level indicator.
Smooth running wheels
The smooth running wheels of the STIHL lawn mowers are extremely robust and hard-wearing. They have been equipped with a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for effortless manoeuvring and to help hold perfect line during mowing.
Super soft grip
The super soft grip is comfortable to hold, especially when used over longer periods.

Central cutting height adjustment
