Lawnflite LS80P Vertical Petrol Log-Splitter Specifications

With its heavy-duty hydraulic ram and hugely powerful 8hp engine working to produce a massive splitting-force of 10-tonnes, the Lawnflite LS80P Vertical-Type Petrol Log-Splitter will deal quickly and effortlessly with very large volumes of the most testing types of wood (knotted, close grain, etc). The engine itself is an easy-starting overhead-valve unit from Zong Chen (MTD), which you’ll find quiet-running and exceptionally reliable.
Vertical-type log-splitters are much more flexible than horizontal type machines, and the Lawnflite LS80P is no different. The base-plate can be set to any of three positions to suit the size of log you’re splitting. This means the ram doesn’t travel further than it needs to, in turn ensuring energy is saved and productivity is maximised. Position ‘1’ is suitable for logs up to 52cm long; in position ‘2’ logs up to 78cm are acceptable; and in position ‘3’ you’ll be able to split logs up to 104cm in length.
The Lawnflite LS80P’s transport wheels, transport handle and lack of restrictive mains-cable make it particularly suitable for those needing to work in remote locations with no nearby power-supply. For maximum user-safety, both hands must be on the two main levers for the machine to work. This ensures your hands are a safe distance from the splitting-mechanism during operation.
